Saunton Surf Guide
Saunton in North Devon is a quite exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the east with some shelter here from north winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach break provides left and right handers. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Watch out for dangerous rips.

“Great long boarding spot. Massive beach so handles a big crowd. Best surf is by the rocks with a rip to help you outback. Handles big swell and surfable at all tides. Exposed to the winds.”
